There is a sort of pattern. The abductees were doing a genetics study on evolving humans as a way to further their own genetic code and to try to create life without intercourse (cloning).

Because of this, the people they chose tended to be special in some way, psychic, gifted, etc.

You're lucky; I happen to be at my point in cycle wherein I am crazy enough to know the answer and lucid enough to be able to work the Internet. *Jiggles the wires* Now, where were we? Oh yes, you wanted to know if alien abductions are done according to a system; well, it depends upon your definition of a system. Let's just assume that you mean a systemic system systemized in a systematic mode. That makes it easy. And I 'm glad that you asked. Actually, I am euphoric that you asked your question; but that is not either here nor there. The system has to do a juxtaposition of diphthongs within the word itself and in others. This is not to say that it's your fault or my fault (probably your fault) but I am splitting hairs at this point. The aliens are pretty advanced but they have one weakness: they think that there are 13 signs in the Zodiac AND all of them were born in that 13th sign (Hortence the mole). Thus you can see how easy it is for them to all think alike. Now remember what I said at the beginning when I tell you this: the aliens that abduct people do so out of the kindness of their hearts (they have three). So we can't go about judging them or screaming bloody murder as they probe us. Being endlessly probed is one of the highest honors that the aliens can bestow upon anyone. So, it becomes obvious: they love us and we should send them all our money. After all, so it was in the beginning. You see? You are starting to remember. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. One last thing before I go: oil your follicles... PLEASE!

I believe that those occurrences that some term "alien abductions" are random. This is because there are no aliens and so people mistake various events as alien activity.

Alien abductions are the stuff of dreams and nightmares. I don't believe that any human being has ever really been abducted by an extra-terestrial being.

They are delusions. Nobody has ever been abducted by an alien because no aliens have ever been to Earth. The people who think they have been abducted are mentally ill.

The comedian Bill Hicks once said he did a UFO tour:

He found himself appearing infront of two yokels and a dog and ended up questioning his own existence!

If you figure out their system, let me know...

They usually happen in rural areas to guys names Cletus or Bubba. They probably think that dogs are in charge because they've seem so many people walking dogs and then picking up the poop.

The race known as the Teasers certainly do. They select only backwards yokels, in the middle of nowhere, whom no one will ever believe, to reveal themselves to. Bastards.

Yes just as soon as I get the darn bug they put in my head, it's hard to drill and look in the mirror, so they do visit.
