I have an HP DV6000 notebook computer that I want to have up and running with a monitor, printer, and speaker system. The problem is that i don't see many of those connectors on my notebook. What do I need to get set besides the actual monitor, etc.??

If your laptop has a connector for a port replicator or docking station buying one is probably the best way to do it.

I suspect it doesn't though so you'll need to connect the monitor, printer and speakers separately. There should be a VGA port for the monitor somewhere and a line out port for external speakers on the computer with USB handling the rest (printer, keyboard, mouse, etc, if you don't have enough USB ports buying a USB hub would be the answer to that).
