There's this girl that I know from last year. We see each other in the halls all the time, but never speak. She's always looking or staring at me. She's spoken to me twice that year, one day out of the blue, and then today. If we talked it'd only be at lunch. She started talking to one of my good friends also that she knows I'm friends with. Well her best friend hates me and my good friend, and today after the girl finished talking to me at lunch, her best friend told me she don't like me. Well I don't give a ****, so I told her I don't like her either. Why would the girl I know only speak to me at lunch, when she sees me everyday in the hall, and then start talking to my friend when she knows her best friend hates my friend?

I think you messed up by saying that you don't like the girl that you only talk to during lunch, because you don't care, but you don't actually not like her, you just don't know her well, right? Maybe the best friend of the other girl is jealous, because she knows her friend likes you and wants to be your friend, so she is making trouble. Just pretend like you never said that, and keep talking to her at lunch. Maybe say hi to her in the hall, even. Maybe she is being controlled by the mean girl, and needs new friends or something.
You don't really have anything to lose by being nice to everyone.

Girls are really complicated sometimes, that's the best answer I can give. Sounds like she's playing childish games and odds are she doesn't like you because she's jealous of you in some way. Don't worry about it, it sounds like she'd be even more of a burden as a friend anyway.

People usually act like this when their is something in you they admire and can't deal with. I would suggest you continue to be a lady and ignore her actions other wise you are feeding into her and that gives her power

This is why I try to be friends with both genders and positive people. You should have never told her you don't like her, keep that to yourself. Just ignore her when she says stink things, she's trying to get you angry.

there was this girl that used to act like that around me. she was always mean and treated me like crap well l8er i found out she thought i was pretty and that she was jealous. so maybe shes just jealous of u. just ignore her but if i gets out of hand just sit and talk w/ her tell her that u r sorry and u shouldn't have said that u don't like her.
