It is due to all the bleeding hearts that think we should just support the entire world while our country goes to hell in a handbasket! Take care of AMERICA FIRST........worry about everyone else later

Because people don't want do die defending there country. People that are willing to die join the army and navy and all that stuff. They would rather move to a different country then die defending one that isn't even THAT great. I mean USA is a good country in all but some things seem a little stupid. Look online for "stupid laws" and you will find a lot of reasons.

i am not sure if it is that they are fearful of defending their country, because there are enough people volunteering that no draft is necessary but rather it is often that they do not believe a proposed action or war is necessary to defend this country by fighting in another country somewhere else.

Then get out there and defend it to the death and stop spending your time on Yahoo. I hear the Army is looking for a few good men: enlist if you're so gung ho!

People aren't fearful, some of us just find it a pointless pursuit to be patriotic.
And those that are fearful see the quirks, and are afraid to be wrong.
They see that no country is perfect, not even America, contrary to the popular belief.

No disrespect...I find your sentiment honorable. However, the jury is still out on the ratio of true "defense" and "atrocities performed in the name of defense." Luckily we live in a country where we are afforded the liberty to have our own opinions.

I understand. I go for Bush but he has got to stop pulling the troops! If we want to show Iraq and anyone else that we will not back down, we have to keep fighting!

I've only got one life, and I want to live it.

There are very few things I would willingly die for, and a violent war is not one of them.
