I am neither a Yankees or a Red Sox Fan, I am just a baseball fan. I used to root for the Sox whenever they play against the Yanks because the Yanks were always better than them, but now that they're pretty good they are so cocky and I just noticed that their fans are pretty annoying, too.

Lumping all sox fans in one category is lame,it's like the song says theres good in bad in everyone,same goes for sox fans,Yankees fans,Cleveland fans,etc..etc...

I'm a Yankee Fan and I agree that the Red Socks are a BIT out of hand at times, but one DOES have to admit that they have some really great players on their team REGARDLESS if you like them or NOT. Big Poppi is FEARED by every pitcher he meets at the bat and Manny? Well he's an idiot who just happens to know how to handle a baseball bat and NOTHING ELSE... So, I'm rooting for the Rockies to BLAST the Sox out of the water in this series... But, I DO have to say that IF I decide to watch any games, it wll BE because OF the Sox...... Hopefully next fall at this time we will see the PIN STRIPES back in the series... but without Joe Torre, I doubt it....

fans of any team can be cocky or annoying at times. I used to have a baseball website on MSN and would not admit any Red Sox fans because they had just signed Manny Ramirez away from Cleveland and the Red Sox fans were horribly obnoxious to the Cleveland fans about it. It left a bad impression on me about their fans but I am sure there are also some decent ones such as Stephen King although that disappoints me as I like his books.

The Boston Redsox were very humble(well,not Manny)during the A.L. playoffs.I do think that they will become more annoying during the W.S. because of the lack of competitiveness with the N.L. representative.I believe by game 4 or 5 that you will see a very cocky team.

The Red Sox are hard-working athletes. The suggestion that guys like Youk, Lowell, Pedroia, Ellsbury are cocky is misplaced. Beckett, Ortiz and Ramirez, maybe, but they've earned it.
As for us Red Sox fans, everything they say we are, we are, and we are very proud of ourselves.

I feel that baseball is so fixed...i don't like the Sox or the Yanks because they have the most money and can buy a winning team. I always root for the underdog!
