We have to present something to the class. One group made a pinata and brought the song, another group made some food, what's something I could do? I was thinking something involving sports like soccer. Any ideas would be great.

1. How about getting together some native costumes. You don't have to necessarily wear them but it would be more fun. You can also present a little history behind them like why, where, when they are worn.

2. Latino heroes would be okay too. People in their history that made a difference and you can also dress up with a costume and make a little presentation. (Sounds like fun)

good luck.

Soccer and/or bullfighting have been done to death for Spanish projects involving sports.
This mi amigo, will blow your mind. There is a region in Mexico called Oaxaca(pronounced wa-Ha-ka) where they live and breath American basketball. But because the average Oaxacan man is 5'9 at the tallest, they emphasize passing and teamwork. They appreciate a great assist more than a monster dunk and their favoirte players are the NBA point guards (Magic Johnson, John Stockton, Tony Parker). Go to L.A. Weekly.com and search basketball for more info.

I think you can do it about music, spanish music like merengue, salsa, or bachata. You can teach some how to dance those kinds of music. Good luck
