I watched a movie on TV a while back and it was about a cross dressing black man who's lover was a cop that had died. In the movie the man takes in a drug addicted woman and her young daughter to help them get on their feet. This was such a touching movie about friendship, family and accepting people for who they are that I would love to see it again but I can't think of the name of it. Does anyone know?

Holiday Heart with Ving Rhames as the crossdressing neighbor (Holiday), Alfre Woodard as Wanda and Jesika Reynolds as Nikki. Mykelti Williamson (Bubba from Forrest Gump) played Wanda's no good boyfriend that roughed up Holiday
This movie is great. Sad but it does end very well. I loved it.
While getting the extra information from imdb.com, I found that it is coming on tv soon...
