Take a can of pork and beans, dry them out a bit, and spray paint them green. Or any color that you want. Pink beans would be quite a sight.
Oh, wait a minute. Did you mean, how do you COOK green beans?
In that case...
If you are talking about canned green beans, just pop 'em in a pot and heat them up for about 10 minutes or so.
Frozen, you can put them in water and boil for about 15 minutes. Or you can steam them. If you have a good steamer use that, or one of those little basket inserts. Boil the water before you put the beans in the steamer. Try a little bit of butter on top of them.
Or you can put them in a skillet, with a bit of olive oil and garlic.

When I cooked my green beans , first I used cubons ( chicken favor ) let them dissolves in the water. If get the can or the orginal from the vegetable ale, well I used both and doesnt matter, just the ends of the orginal ones or drain the cans of the extra juice . Put in the water and let them cooked for 15 to 20 minutes. you have nice flavor green beans.

Well, when they are in season, I buy about 1 1/2 pounds and string, break, and wash them thoroughly. Put them in a pot, cover with water, add a little canola oil and salt and cover with lid. Cook until desired doneness. It's the way everyone in my part of the country cooks them.
