GET A DOG!!! :)

Dogs have a lot of personality and charecter, and in my opinion, you've seen one cat you've seen them all. Here is a description of a typical cat:
It scratches up whatever it wants to whenever it wants to. It sprays urine on people's laundry, shoes, and other items. It will scratch and attack anyone it hates, visitors, children, and etc. It is hard to give it a bath because it hates water. It hates pet birds, and new dogs/puppies. It won't come when its called.

The only thing different about a cat is its coat and color.
Dogs come in a huge variety of sizes, colors, breeds, coats, and personalities. Many dogs are different, and I can't say the same thing for cats.

I don't mind when dog owners choose to breed their dogs, but I can't stand it when cat owners don't spay and neuter their cats. Whats the point of breeding cats? They're all the same, and will turn out the same. There is also way too many of them. Wild stray cats are the worst of them all. They run into people's yards, pee in their kid's sandboxes, make their dogs go crazy, and make a mess of the yard. Wild cats are really hard to catch, and they also damage the echo system of the local wildlife.

Dogs are the best pets by far, and that is why I choose to have them as pets.

Since you live in North OC, I did a search for adoptable dogs in your area that you should check out. ;)

You'll be saving a life, and money, too.

Depends on the level of responsibility you want and what kind of personality you want your pet to have. Do you want an obedient pet or an independent one? Are you okay with doing more work to care for a pet that's more obedient and loving?

A cat is by far easier to care for. If you're used to a lizard, a cat may be a better choice, since a cat will be quieter and less needy. I personally find dogs more satisfying, though. I love my cats, but they can be very annoying when they feel like running around the house at all hours of the night.

Personally I am a dog person so I would say dog but if you live in certain areas a cat may be better . A dog to me is more loyal than a cat and will try to do anything for you. But a cat is neater to a degree, so you have to decide and I think you are a dog person.

The answer depends on what you are looking for in a pet. If you want an active animal to play with outdoors then a dog is for you. However, if you want a low maintenance companion who can be left home all day while you are at work, then consider a cat.

mountain horned dragon... is that one of those lizards? those things are cute.... i saw one of those, at a pet store. they had a "something or other" dragon, so maybe it was related, and also a chamilion in two separate cages, and oh my god those things were too cute, they seemed to be almost too social for a lizard. all you would had to do is go tap on the aquarium to get their attention, they they would start trying to climb out to get your attention.... it made me want to get a lizard in stead of a parrot.

as far as dogs and cats go, well i like cats cause they're more independent. you don't have to take them for walks, but dogs i like them to cause they can keep you company, but my favorite are birds. i had a couple of parakeets until my let them die, now i wanna get something larger like a cockatiel or a parrot, birds can be great pets too... lots of different varieties and you can get a unique species or color mutation which would amaze everybody

Dogs love cats, but cats hate attention, when the dog tries to pay, the cat will be angry, so the dog gets angry because the cat rejected it, then the war begins

Both of them are extremely love able but dogs show there love more and you should like you want a animal that will show its love. So I would definitely say a dog. But make sure you have enough room for one if you don't then get a cat.
