When you have a top contributer answer your questions, are you obligated to choose them as the best answer or do you just choose whoever you want?

Absolutely not! I choose the person's answer who put the most thought and time into answering!

No obligation to even choose best answer. So no if you want to pick the best then just pick the best no matter who it is

You pick what you feel is the answer that helped you the most. You're never obligated to choose anyone over anyone else. This is America!! :)

well i chose whoever answers the best. most of time top contributers though because they answer by putting a lot of though in the answer

Well i use to be a top contributor in polls and surveys until they stripped all the polls and survey badges
but just because they answer doesn't mean i pick them actually i usually don't pick them because i think the newbies are funnier
i think the top contributors are either loved or hated

you choose whoever gave you the best answer. you dont just pick any random person or you dont just pick a top contributor because they are a top contributor. you pick whoever gives you the best answer. like if you think i gaave you the best answer you pick me as a best answer.
