i totally agree......what happened to the classics?

i grew up on captain planet, x-men, thundercats, johnny quest etc......! lol, loved em

at least shows like fairly odd parents are sorta funny :)

guess it means we hav to stick with grown up stuff like family guy, at least it makes sense

I don't know Sponge Bob is pretty funny, these cartoons are no different then the cartoons we used to watch. Maybe they use a little more body fluids, but its pretty much the same. I've been watching cartoons since 1979. Not if your talking about adult swim, that's a whole different ballgame.
I'll give you good examples of good shows.

Nickelodeon- Avatar the last airbender, Disney - Danny Phantom or Kim Possible Cartoon Network nothing comes to me right now, but I'm sure there are some good ones.

Cartoon Network is loaded with stupid anime and not Dexter's Labrotory or Johnny Bravo. Nickelodeon has gay spongebob and the Naked Brother's Band. I used to watch those channels all the time 10 years ago. Now the shows are just stupid. I completely agree but it doesn't matter anymore because I am too old to watch those channels anyway.

I agree 100% with you, the old nick shows rocked. Ren and Stimpy, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Salute Your Shorts, Rockos Modern Life, etc. I did see a channel on directv that had Rocko, but that was all i saw.

Yes, They constantly go through new pathetic shows. The companies are trying to get those quick dollars and moving on. There are also a lack o talented workers and animators.
I think Disney has the best Shows for now. But maybe were just older and our kids will say the same thing.

i kno im so pissed! the 90s ROCKED! we had the coolest shows ever! even DISNEY was better! i totally DESPISED everything on kids channels now its like all kids in like high school for little kids to watch. its setting a horribe example!
they are doing it because now all little kids want to do is watch "adult" shows to prove they are grown up. it is very annoying i never wanted to grow up when i was kid. maybe when i was 5 i wanted to be a big kid but by the time i hit 7 all i wanted to do was stay a kid forever! and i still want to! im 14 when asked how old i am i say im still a kid! and i still go trick or treating and watch all the old movies i watched as a kid! follow my example children!! and one more hting sponge bob is gay now and has run out of jokes. the better episodes are when it first came out when i was in the 3rd grade. and pinky and the BRAIN I MISS THEM!!!

Nickelodeon used to be awesome!! I used to watch that channel until it became Nick-at-Night. Then I'd watch MTV (that was back in the day when MTV played music videos all day).
