I love the name Liam! Judas is unique and unusual. I would go with that if you ever have a boy!
According to babynames.com, Liam means...strong-willed warrior .

Liam means unwavering protector and Judas means the praised one (it is a biblical name). I like Liam very much, but I am not a big fan of Judas.

I like Liam, but Judas for me has a bad connotation - Judas betrayed Jesus in the Bible. Even if you're not Christian you should think of what the name will make other people think of(and probably say) tp your kid. Just a thought!

Liam is a variant of William, so the meaning would be protector.
Judas Iscariot was the apostle who betrayed Jesus. For that reason, I think very, very few people would use the name for their child. I've heard Judas used in place of betrayer. So even though that's not its meaning, that is the association with the name.
Judas is actually a Greek variant of Judah, which means God is praised.
You might seriously consider naming him Liam Judah instead. Even if you're not religious (I'm not especially churchy myself), the association with Judas is negative and well-known.

I love the name Liam Judas. (I am catholic and we believe that Judas betrayed Jesus, however I'm also a theatre major and love the Musical Jesus Christ Superstar in which Judas is an amazing singer.

I really like the name Liam.
If you or anyone in the family is Christian, they may have a problem with Judas (that's the disciple who betrayed Jesus).
What about Jude as an alternative? That was Jesus' brother and he wrote a book in the Bible.
I guess if you're not Christian it might not matter to you, but it's the connotation of the name (sort of like Adolph or Benedict--other famous villains/traitors).
