I'm not giving you an essay but I think you can say is that you are a patriotic American because of the ideals which founded this Republic. Although the path to these ideals haven't always been righteous, just and fair the task of getting there stands nontheless.
Your a patriotic American because you believe in the idea that any person can achieve life, liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness in his or her own lawful manner. Regardless of Creed, Colour, Sex, Religion etc.
Your a patriotic American because you believe in the ideals that your American forefathers and Founding Fathers fought for. Ranging from religious expression from the Puritans or to escape famine as in the Irish immigrants.
Your a patriotic American because you are among the many who will forge a path for a better American tomorrow.

okey, so i have this essay too.
just search why i am an ameircan patriot, on here.
thats what i am doing. and is giving me a lot of ideas. i think its better because then other people on here don't have to see the why i am an american patriot questions popping up every 5 seconds. :D
