Nothing will remove those memories from your mind.....the harder you try; the less effective you will be in forgetting or moving on
The best way to minimize the impact and help the ugly memory fade is to create NEW more pleasant memories.....keep your mind and life active.....avoid depression or depressing situations....
SIDEBAR: I was once driving down a city street when I saw a beautiful German Shepard sitting in the street.....it evidently was hit by a car and it's back was broken.....it was not able to walk......as I passed he looked at me with the saddest eyes that seemed to plead," Help Me".......My sense of helplessness and futility still haunt me.....that was 30 years ago.....and that little memory bothers me still (I know a Pinoy would not fully appreciate my feeling because dogs hold a somewhat different position in their culture)

I cannot forget it. We can minimize the memories by being busy or being with relatives and friends.
In a sense, it is better not to forget the (ugly) memories because we got lessons from it or made us stronger as we are now.

Only time helped me out to forget those bad experiences.
Plus ..just don't think about it. it will eventually fade out from your memory.

it would be hard to forget... at anytime in your life, it would keep on coming back... even if you get older... (with the exception of having amnesia, or dementia, or anything such like this)...
one best solution is to pray... and as time passes by, it would slowly disappear... keep yourself busy from doing things that make you happy...

My loved ones. This process happens without us knowing.
Our loved ones make it easy for us to sail on. They make us happy, soothing wounds they don't even know existed.
At the same time, caring for our loved ones also unburdens us from our troubles. Doing something good, especially something loving, never fails to uplift our souls.

nothing.
my answer is nothing because
what you do and did in your life
is your choice and if you made
the right or wrong
choice you still did
it and you just have to accept that
because we can't go back in time
we can on forgive and forget.

can't forget it, the scars will forever be there, but all you can do is just move on, and time will make it better and better for you
