Hehe, I'd have to say that the most intelligent show on TV right now would have to be Family Guy. Sounds stupid, but the show uses the smartest humor and still manages to be absolutely hilarious. ^_^

Transformers Beast Wars
Why, well lets see, I was raised on it, it was my favorite show and I still havent outgrown it, and it was one of the first shows to use cgi, along with being able to have lots of violence without getting boring.
Besides that, I ran into a friend who was playing it in his dorm, and he pointed out to me how much philosophy was in it, and how we all learned it from the show as kids.

I think South Park is nice. It has to do with sometimes serious matters which are shown in a sarcastic way.

I thought "Six Feet Under" was very smart and had excellent writers behind them.
My new favorite "dark drama" is Nip/Tuck.
