walked outside with bare feet....????

About half an hour ago, I went to a friend's house in my tennis shoes and socks to hang out (no not the friend from my question)
We decided to go for a walk and she suggested we both go barefoot. So I took off my shoes and socks and we went for a walk around town in our bare feet. Greatest walk I have had in ages, I really have to start going barefoot more often.

I got home twenty minutes ago so that would be when I was outside in bare feet last. Another day in just bare feet and loving it.

Yesterday, I'm always barefoot but I haven't gone out yet today.
And yet another poster who stopped going barefoot after an accident. I'm always puzzled at how many people stop going barefoot after one mishap... I've been barefoot for over ten years, and I've smashed & cut my fingers *far* more often yet no one thinks it's weird I don't walk around wearing gloves all day... and back when I still wore footwear I remember at least two times I've fallen from shoe strings coming undone while riding my bicycle, but no one's ever suggested to stop wearing shoes with laces. Sports injury? "When can you play again" is the usual response. We take all kinds of accidents in stride & carry on, so why is it that when something happens just *once* going barefoot, people stop? Just strange.

July. Around here, it's too cold to walk outside barefoot any time after that...

Years and years ago. I was 10 and I cut my foot so badly that I had to have 20 stitches. I learned to not go barefoot outside ever again.

Not since last summer when I burned my feet. ouch. the concrete was like 105 degrees. I never suspected it to be that hot.
