im only in highschool but it just popped into my head the other day.

Pen, pencil, notebook, blank paper, checkbook, college catalog, your schedule of classes. If you've already bought the textbooks, tote them along too.

Well let's see. I used to take a note pad and pen or pencil. The first day of class you need to write down the prof's name and the books for the class, and not much more.

My college posted most of the book requirements online. If I had them already I would take them but if not it's no big deal. I always took a 3 ring binder with paper and writing instruments.
