Amount cut off is:
5 x 4 1/3,
= 20 + 5/3,
= 20 + 1 2/3
= 21 2/3 inches.
Amount left = 30 3/4 - 21 2/3
=30 - 21 + 3/4 - 2/3
=9 + 9/12 - 8/12
=9 + 1/12
=9 1/12 inches.
Product = 26.22 x 3.09 =81.0198
Sum = 33.799 (just add them all)
Difference = 81.0198 - 33.799
=47.2208.

Hello,
30 and 3/4 = 123/4 4 and 1/3 = 13 /3 so 5 of these are 65 / 3 now subtract 123/4 - 65/3 we need a common denominator of 12 giving us (369 - 260) /12 = 109 / 12 or 9 and 1/12.

(26.22 * 3.09) -(3.507+2.08+11.5+16.71)) = 81.0198 -(33.799)= 47.220 Answer C

4 1/3 times 5 = 65/3
65/3 is the same as 21 and 2/3
so then you subtract 21 and 2/3 from 30 and 3/4
Your common denominator is 12
making it
30 and 9/12
