PLZZ help!! i have a lexmark 2500 printer i bought it 2-3 months ago well like a month ago the cartridge was finished so i had to buy a new one well i waited like till a whole month and finally got a new BLACK 28 ink cartridge because i was busy. then when i try installing the cartridge the screen says that there is no black ink cartridge installed and in the solution center shows there is a full ink black cartriged!!! when i try to print something like an alignment page it wont print it keeps jamming !! whats wrong wid my printer??!! HELPPP ASAP!!!!♥ plz

Most likely, you put the black in into the wrong cartridge slot. If I remember correctly, this printer has TWO cartridge slots.

Office depot shows that #28 and #29 are the proper carts for Lexmark X2500. So does the Lexmark website.

I presume you mean an X2500 printer. The web shows the different printer cartridges and black 28 is not one of them. It shows
#16 Black Print Cartridge
#23A Black Print Cartridge
#23 Black Return Program Print Cartridge
So it looks like the wrong cartridge.

unplug the printer wait a few seconds then plug the power back in that should clear the memory of the printer & try again as far as installing make sure U removed the tape & followed the steps in the manual . don't just pull the cartride out

Did you remove the protective tape from the cartridge? Are you sure its snapped into the slot and properly seated/ Just a couple thing to check.

Maybe its installed wrong or wrong cartridge or even try installing the cartridge.

well you eightther have it in the wrong part backwords or wrong cartridge number
