I mean seriously, some kids are really good drivers and they have to wait till they are 16

Research in several countries has shown not only that the younger people are when they start to drive the higher the chances of having a serious or fatal crash within the first year of driving, but also that a young person's brain is not fully developed until after the teenage years have passed, and that this, in turn, also reduces a young person's abilities as a safe driver.
Inexperience, risk taking behavior, and immaturity are cited as primary reasons for these accidents.
There is also the issue of legal responsibility and being a minor should an accident occur.
There is ongoing debate that the driving age should be raised to 18....and increasing driver's education time.

because most kids can't handle the responsibility and some under 16 can't even reach the gas. there has to be some sort of cut off, you can't say some kids who are 15 can go for a driver's license but others can't.

Then too bad for them...... I waited until I was 16, so did everyone else, just about. There are also some kids who have no knowledge whatsoever and would total their car in one day.... it's just another law, no big deal.

Because some adults can't drive, so why let a child without any experience get behind a wheel? There's enough problems on the roadways.

Maturity. the percentage of kids causing wrecks is from new drivers. at a young age..
Law.. its just the law..

its the law idk y some are small and could crash the car why ru 15 ? go get laid oops they cant do that either u need it through know what im sayin tough luck some things u cant have like instead u get std and a baby u want that (no) then plz stfu

they lack the maturity of brain function, the coordination, the combination of fine and gross motor skills necessary and ability to assess danger and risk until that age.
