We taught our kids not to touch it. We told them it was hot. We never had a problem. Much easier than messing with the heaters. Better for the kids too. They need to learn things.

keep fabric fixtures 4-6 inches away. probable 2-3 is robust sufficient, yet greater useful secure than sorry. I surely have lived in apartments with baseboard heating. It become high-quality. exceptionally in the event that they are water or oil crammed - which they in all risk are. The somewhat risky electric powered heaters are those with the crimson warm filament. in case you have those - forget approximately it.

The Building Codes and U.L. standards require
baseboard heating to limit the exterior surfaces
to safe temperatures.
I wouldn't worry too much.
