And if so, couldn't you go for a Gino Giant right about now?

Everybody goes to Gino's, cause Gino's is the place to go!!

This was a chain started by former Baltimore Colt Gino Marchetti. The chain was purchased in the early 1980's by Marriott, and most of the Gino's were converted into Roy Rogers. Kentucky Fried Chicken was dropped from the menu, and for a while in the Baltimore Washington it was very hard to find!

The Roy Rogers chain was sold to Hardees, they tried to convert them all to Hardees. After the conversion business went down at the former Roy Rogers locations, to the point where Hardees converted most of the stores back to Roy Rogers. The customer base had shrunk so badly because of the changes that they ended up selling many locations to McDonald's, and they were either made int McDonald's or Boston Market.

You can still find some of the old high roof Gino's locations, but more and more are being torn down!
