In those moments, don't you yourself feel like simply belly-laughing? Just laugh. I cannot see glass and rollerskate through it and such rather often. Once, I roller-skated through the same MacDonald's plate glass window twice in one month with half of the high school inside to witness my humiliation. Just two days ago, as an old women, I bashed my head through a sliding glass window at the dentist office. You should have seen that poor girl's face on the other side. I could NOT stop laughing for an hour. It was contagious, too. My dentist turned to giggle jelly.

Yes...I was coming down a grand staircase in a plush resort in Japan. I tripped at the bottom step and ended up on my knees! I didn't know anyone that was there, so that made it a little easier. I went on with my husband--luckily, he didn't make a big deal of it, and we went our way. It may have been much more tramatic an event for you. WE ALL TRIP, from TIME TO TIME!! It's not an issue of "redeeming yourself"!! It's human behavior--remember, Man was not meant to walk upright--and since he did, we've stumbled from time to time!!! We simply get up and go on!!

LOLZ, I have many times! Just get up and laugh it off. Don't let it get to you, don't let your ego get bruised. If people call you stupid or something, ignore them and keep laughing. Usually, don't let it bother you on the days ahead, people forget about it faster.
