Some of each, depending on the day. If you truly have let a friendship become a relationship become a marriage, then most things will work itself out. Those who marry in lust or haste get what they bargained for...trouble. But if someone really goes in with eyes open, a passion for the other person more than for themselves, and gives equality to decisions and choices, it can be a fun ride. Bumpy, but fun.

This data about happiness in the world were published on Oct. 22, 2007: "US researchers have found other underlying factors: married people are more content than singles, but having children does not raise happiness levels; education and IQ seem to have little impact; attractive people are only slightly happier than the unattractive; the elderly - over 65 - are more satisfied with their lives than the young; friendships are crucial."

Sure is. But if you're lucky it's better than worse. The first one I was in was the worst, I've been married for the second time for 22 years, and it's definitley for the better.

Some of both, but mostly for better. In my marriage, the good definitely outweighs the bad. But there will be arguments and disagreements in any relationship, it's unrealistic to think there won't be. (Trust me, the kissing and making up is worth the silly disagreement! -_^ )

better chance that you'll end up with the worse. Sometimes I hate every bone in her body except for mine.

i think people take the term "marriage" too lightly these days! it is more than a piece of paper that says you're married......and i know so many young teens getting married that its almost scary! so i guess it is for worse these days....

I never experienced it yet, but with my relationships with people, it more likely would be for worse.
