An ipod touch wheel of mine

does not work.. I try charging it through the computer (usb) and nothing shows up (the screen does not light up or anything) the ipod seems completely dead and doesn't like up or anything at all

any help on what the problem could be and a solution?

Try reseting it. (Hold menu and middle button until the screen turns balck then wait for and apple to show up)

make sure that the battery is not dead and that the hold button is not engaged. It these seem to be OK then try to sync it with the computer again to see if that will fix it. If not, i suggest taking it in to an electronics specialist or apple technician, if any apple stores are nearby. They may not e able to help since it is an older model though and may not be worth what it costs to fix it.

Well if this is happening then find your receipt and return it to where ever you bought it. Apple does a one year warrenty on all of their electronics so i would suggest bringing it back to the place that you bought it with the receipt.
