Well , I wear white singlets & yet mine is ALWAYS a grayish /blue colour ! lol

What I want to know is...why do all guys get it?

It's not. I've been doing laundry all day today, and my first load was very blue. In my case, several pairs of brand new blue and black jeans made for a nice deep blue color. The second load (bleached towels) was pretty darn white. Normally, however, I suspect it's because if you average together dark and light colors you'll get gray. If the colors were really saturated you might get a more brownish color, but I would guess that the bits that become lint are probably the most worn bits, and their dye isn't very intense any more.

Like the first guy said, it's probably because must of your clothes or the lining on the inside of your clothes is gray.

Because that's the color of your fur. My naval lint is the color of the clothes I wear... usually blue. Maybe it has to do with the hemisphere you live on.
