I need to restore my hard drive, but lost my install disk that came with the computer. I heard that some computers have an image of the factory hardrive hidden away, does a Dell Dimension 8110 have this?

Or a website where I could download the files to put on a disk?

The problem is that my computer is FULL of viruses and spyware, and nothing (free) has deleted them all. So I want to restore my hard drive back to the factory settings.

what exactly do you mean, restore? there is a variety of ways to do this.
Anyway, If you mean the OS, you need the disk or a bootleg copy of it.
If your looking to just install an extra disk drive, it may only need to be partioned or formatted.

Where do you reckon this image would be hidden? What do you want to restore to your hard drive? Why is it lost? Without further information it is impossible to tell.

A place that does repairs may keep one in stock. That's what I had to do with my last computer. I just took it back to the store where it was purchased and they had all the software for it.

On My Hp, you'd go to start, accessories, sys tools, sys recovery, this will take you back to their Recovery Points. I had a bad case, too, & this took me almost all the way back to the very beginning. If you have a Sys Recovery, this is what you try. It worked for me, anyway.

Drivers and utility downloads are obtainable on the U. S. Lexmark website. All you would be able to desire to do is click on the under link, decide on your working device and the acquire would desire to start up :)
