Temptation of a Princess

She was just a wee child,
When she learned of God.
She spake in parables at school,
And was deemed unique.
In church she spoke in tongues,
Long forgotten.
Aramaic and Latin,
Her favorites.
She had been annointed,
Directly after leaving the womb.
She saw more than light.
She saw a Messenger of God.
From then on she never strayed from Him.
He Who Is Ageless and Holy.
Sensing this connection.
Evil has never even attempted,
Any temptation of this princess.

Wow. You are very gifted. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking a moment of your time and life to create something beautiful and encouraging for me. Please pray for me too, like I will also do for you, so that my faith can be strengthened. We learn by the day, that God is the first answer and also the final one. But it takes a long time, and many trials, to come to that realisation. Thanks again.

Who has put you as Shakespeare of poetry?!
Edit: Dancing Bee Boy, how old are you? what kind of a critic would say "you claim royalty" and being cynical.
Oh and now you claim to be more important than Shakespeare and you can criticize also Shakespeare because he is not a critic!!! He was a great poet and surely he can be a critic, he knows poetry better than you boy.
Why don't you tell us what do you see good in this poem, ah you don't know because you are blind and you see everything dark and point out the mistakes. This is free poetry!
Edit2: "Everyone makes some claim to royalty these days", this is what you said or no, you cynical critic who only knows how to point mistakes. And if you are pointing out about quoting you claiming to be more important than Shakespeare, then what do you mean by "Shakespeare was not a critic", minimizing him to a simple poet it means who doesn't know how to criticize poetry.

One more thing; you gotta respect yourself and stop telling me to grow up. Really how old are you? you are just irrational in your behavior, if I'm irrational in my attitude.
BTW; how are you claiming to be a critic of poetry, what is your CV?

Everyone makes some claim to royalty these days. It's about as bad as how many claim to be poets!
What this lacks is image and music.
It's prose, broken
into lines.
And meant
for a party of
one.
