Hi,

It depends on where you want to move to in Australia. If you are thinking of moving to Sydney, you can try this website: www.cityhobo.com

Government websites like www.livinginvictoria.com and www.livinginnsw.com (or something like that) have plenty of information but nothing specific like the cityhobo website.

Australia is a huge country and each major city is quite unique. Brisbane is very tropical, relaxed, and not as multicultural as Sydney or Melbourne.

Sydney is the biggest city with so much going on all the time. It has a beautiful harbour and great weather. It is also the most expensive city in Australia.

Melbourne is the most European of all Australia's cities. It is big on sport and culture and the weather can get quite cold. But on the plus side it has the BEST bars in Australia. They are small and welcoming.

Adelaide is like a big country town. It's good for a visit but I wouldn't recommend moving there.

Perth has great weather but is so far away from all the other cities that it can feel isolating.

Darwin is bloody hot all the time so unless you like walking around sweating all the time, I'd avoid it.

I would definitely avoid Canberra. That's where all the politicians and bureaucrats live. It is boring, boring, boring and very cold at winter. Do not move to Canberra.

Hobart is small and cold. So really, it's a choice between Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. You will probably stand a better chance of getting a job in those cities too. Good luck.

We are crying out for pharmacists in Australia, so come over.
Melbourne is cold. Move to Sydney. You know all those famous Australian beaches? They're in Sydney. Not Melbourne.

Hehehe. Fuelling ye old Sydney/Melbourne debate...
