I have used Yasmin 28 (birth-control pill) for 2 years, and have never had any problems. However, these past two months I have forgotten the pill twice but taken it again in the morning. The last time was around 3 weeks ago. I had my period last week, but in contrary of being the normal 5-day heavy one it was 3-day light. People have noticed I've gained weight, except I haven't; neither on the scale or with the tape. My boyfriend did comment that my breasts seem bigger too, and I have some kind of "cramps" in my stomach.... which are more like minute "sucks" or "pulls". Lastly I have experienced naucea around 6-9 every evening for 5 days now. I'm chickening to go and buy a pregnancy-test and am convincing myself it's just the flu and that it's just "visions" etc. But do you think I should?

Well, first off, if you are pregnant congratulations I think, but I think you should do the pregnancy test because these first months are very important and if you drink, if you smoke or are around someone who does that would be bad for the fetus. Second if you think you are you should be careful witht the things you say because even now, the baby feels what you feel, it is a beautiful connection and I think negativity is bad for you and the baby, because the more you worry the more stress, so RELAX, being pregnant is not the end of the world. Yous hould also do it because if you take something like advil for the cramps or if you have a headache, advil is very bad for pregnant women, I knonw because my friendS told me!
You should know though, that there are other things like Synus, that can cause pregnancy like symptoms, I don't think you want me to go into details since you are nauceous, but it had to do with mucus dripping from your throat to your stomach! Anyway, don't worry so much now, DO THE TEST and get it over with, your breats may be bigger because your period just finished, the cramps maybe still because of your period, some women have symptoms like those from their period even after it finishes, so no worries, but do DO THE TEST. About your period having been only 3 days don't worry cause when you are on the pill that cold happen, so like I said no worries, just take the test!

Would you please, please, pretty please check this idiot out!!!

Hi, the pill actually makes u more fertile then normal, so the slightest wrong thing could mess things up, but take a test for 100% security, because i had the same symptoms while i was on the pill, and i used to take it late 8/10 times, i was convinced i was pregnant, but its the hormone in the pill which gives you all the pregnancy symptoms like nausea, aching boobs, sensitivity to smell, weight gain, along with others, and people were speculating that i was pregnant and i wasn't, it was just the hormones. hope this helps :)

Have you been on antibiotics during the last few months? They can cause the pill not to work. Sounds like you have the symptoms of pregnancy, but you really need to take a test. Be brave! You can do it! Go get a test. If you ARE pregnant, the sooner you find out, the sooner you can get on pre-natal vitamins to ensure a healthy baby. And if you're not pregnant, think how relieved you will be, just to know! Good luck!

The best way to find out is to just take the test. I'm not sure if you're pregnant or not. You probably couldve gained wait from the hormonal birth control pills, your period flow might have changed do to your levels of stress or the hormones, and the nausea could be do to your diet. I'm really not sure but I would suggest you just go take the test. If it says you're not pregnant than perhaps you can see what the actual problem is.

Buy a test and put your mind at rest. It really is the scariest 3 minutes you'll ever have to wait but it will be worth it.
Sounds like you've been pretty responsible with your pill, and to be on for 3 days is normal.

Buy a test and take it ASAP. a cheep one will do but get a two pack - then you can make sure :-) doing a test is totally harmless.

Take it from a mom... been there, done that! Go get a pregnancy test. It's the only way to know. The body is really weird in that it will mimmick what you think is wrong, even if you are fine. It is very rare to be pregnant and have a period.

Even missing one pill can cause pregnancy. That's why you have to take the pill consistently and at the same time everyday. Yes, you could be pregnant. If you are pregnant, you need to stop taking the birth control pills right now, as they could cause your unborn baby problems. So...go take the pregnancy test and see what's up.

Dear:
Weight increased or less after using whatever birth control pill is normal. It is better if you do a blood test after a couple of months with the ginecologist. Remember when God sents a baby nobody can stop him. . . pregnancy during the period, pregnancy with triconceptive pill, pregnancy during lactancy, pregnancy whenever...

You DO NEED to get tested for pregnancy! No birth control is 100 percent reliable. And I personally know 8 people who got pregnant while on the pill. And unlike you... They never forgot to take theirs.

Buy a pregnancy test. The sooner you know the better it is for the baby. You can get pregnant on the pill when you skip doses or don't take it on time.
