I believe that life is very special and it doesn't suck it just has it obstacles. You can always make something good out of a bad situation, but some people just tend to make life as suckish as possible. I think life is good and is a special gift that everyone has the right to enjoy! :)

Life IS good, though I suppose that depends heavily on one's viewpoint. Pessimism about the future seems to be all the rave nowadays, thanks to the doom-and-gloom propaganda of the enviro movement. (Any enviros out there, please don't flame me, you'll only be contributing further to global warming!)
Anyone who thinks the world sucks now, should live in just about any period in the past. The world is far from perfect today, but most aspects of life are a lot better than in the "good ol' days" of times past!

to totally kill your play on words, I will mention that the school of thought that mankind defines it's existence through it's hardships is a very very old one. Many religions have touched on this, a number of philosophers, and even as currently as in the Matrix movies when the bad guy is describing the first Matrix they built. If you subscribe to that theory, even if we managed to fix all of our problems right now, we would find/create new troubles and worries. In essences, as humans, we are incapable of perfection.

I totally agree with you, the world that the generation of our grandparents has made for us SUCKS!
