Everytime I brush my teeth it takes me about 15 minutes because I gag so much and feel like throwing up but dont. I had a misscarriage earlier on this year and was already throwing up by the first 2 weeks? Is this normal???

Yes, it's normal.

Each pregnancy can be different, and morning sickness does not always including vomiting. You may just be nauseous a lot.

I've been pregnant 3 times and every single one was different. The first was textbook. I was nauseous for about 3 months and threw up several times. My second time was awful. I was violently vomiting almost daily. The third was different too. I only threw up a handful of times but I had nausea for about 6 months. So, there is no normal. As long as your doc says you're fine trust in him. Good luck with the baby! :)

Yes it's normal. I was nauseated for about half my pregnancy, and never threw up once. Its also normal for every pregnancy to be a little different, so while you were throwing up with the last one early on, you could never get sick with this one, or you may have morning sickness much later in the pregnancy.

For nausea/morning sickness it helps to eat more small meals throughout the day, instead of 3 big meals.
Make sure they are well-balanced, and healthy.
Avoid any fried, fatty, spicey, or sugary foods.
Drink lots of water. Especially if you do begin vomitting, so you stay hydrated.
Light exercise on a regular basis helps with the morning sickness, as well. Check with your doctor first, of course.

I've heard that drinking lemonade can help nausea.
I do believe I heard it on the show 'Yummy Mummy' that's on the Discovery Health channel.

yep. i was a gagger too when i brushed my teeth, bad. i never threw up once, i was nauseated.
i went to the health food store, and they reccomended "tobaccum" pills for the nausea. they saved my life for the first 4 months, thank gawd. i took 2 in the morn and was pretty ok for about 5 hours,, and took 2 more if needed. all natural and totally safe

Yes. This is normal. I was terribly nauseous with both of my pregnancies, but rarely actually vomited.

It is an old wives tale that bad morning sickness means a strong pregnancy.

Congrats!

Every pregnancy is different, even in the same woman. I had nausea with all of mine, never threw up. Mine didn't start until my 6th to 8th week though..
Good luck!

Every pregnancy is different, and your symptoms can be different every time too. So yes, whatever you're feeling is normal. You don't always have to vomit. Consider yourself lucky.
