Considering our predisposition toward war, what aspects of God do we glorify by killing?
Also, what in America is worth killing over?
Also, how are we assuring, aside from through warfare, that these aspects or concepts stay preserved and protected?

Our freedom is the one thing most worth fighting for. Ironically, the more gullible citizens seem to be more than willing to sacrifice their freedom to feel safer. Apparently they weren't paying attention in history class. As Benjamin Franklin said, "He who would sacrifice liberty for safety deserves neither."

America is not predisposed towards war. America will not back down when threatened.
What about America is worth fighting for? See that little computer you typed your question on? You can thank veterans for the freedom to buy and use it. You can thank veterans for the freedom to ask you clearly Anti-American questions. You can thank veterans for the land your home sits on.
Thanks to veterans, we have a country. Did you forget the Revolutionary War? The British were not about to give up control without a fight. Our ancestors gave them that fight. If it weren't for war, there would be no America. All the freedoms you take for granted, would not exist.
America is my home. My ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War. We were in this country before it was a country.
Why am I willing to fight for my nation, my people? The better question is: Why aren't you willing to protect your own home?.

You have the freedom to question your government something other people cannot. You are provided a free education and safety nets such as medicare and medicaid. you can live the American dream, somethin millions still come here searching for and many find. That dream that is worth fighting and dying for. That dream which you have forgotten follows that in America if you work hard enough you can attain success.

My life, the life of my wife and kids, the life of my neighbor, your life, and everyone else who may read this answer's life.
War is not about glory, war is not nice, it is not pretty, war is hell.
Sometimes war is necessary to protect life and liberty.
Remember the words of Orwell "The people sleep soundly in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do battle on their behalf."
It Is the Soldier...not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the Soldier...not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Soldier...not the campus organizer.
Who has given freedom to demonstrate.
It is the Soldier...not the lawyer,
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Soldier..who salutes the flag,
Who serves under the flag and
Whose coffin is draped by the flag.
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.
We fight so you can retain the freedoms listed above, even thought people take them for granted most of the time.
Each of those freedoms was not won through the musings of an intellectual, it was won by the blood spilled by those who fought for it on behalf of others.

Freedom is worth fighting for! I don't think God enters the equation. The only thing currently being done to assure that freedom is protected at present is all of us "radicals" who keep yelling at people about what the consequences of some of the things being done today are!

Unlike the radical Islamics, we don't fight for God. If you don't know what is worth fighting for in America then I suggest you move to a place where they don't fight like France.

The cons won't fight themselves but they're more than willing to send our young men and women to fight & die for natural resourses that benefit US multi-national corporations.
Think about it. US intelligence wasn't that bad. As Alan Greenspan said; "The Iraq War was about oil.".
