I'm guessing that the pain you are feeling is caused from being to "dry" during sex. If I do it too much and for too long, personal lubrication tends to disappear and it leaves me feeling achy and like I have a bladder infection. Also, sometimes when I'm on the edge of an orgasim and for some reason don't finish, I get that feeling.

Try some KY lube and try to get your partner to be near the edge of an orgasim before he inserts. That way it won't take him long and he'll be done!

OH, BTW.........our fertitliy doc has told us that having sex every day while TTC is not good. Sperm lives 48-72 in the female so having sex every other day is best. If you do it every day, the mature sperm may be used up before the egg is in the uterus. It takes a long time (can't remember but it was like 60 or 90 days) for sperm to mature.

Good luck.

It may be because of the frequency in which you are having sex. If you are TTC it is best to have sex every 2 days around your ovulation if you're ttc. - you definately do not need to have sex every single day and this can in fact make it much harder to conceive....>>> Here is my article from e-zines that i have written on this exact subject

Most of us probably know that you need to have sex around the time of ovulation if you want to get pregnant. What you may not know is the window of opportunity is very small and many of us miss this time and time again because we think we know the right time.

You may have also already read that the egg can only live between 12 and 24 hours - i remember when i was trying to conceive my second baby i read that the life of the human egg after it’s released from the ovary is actually closer to 12 hours than 24!!. Sperm can survive from 2 to about 5 days once they are inside the woman's body. .so....For your best chances at conception is critical that the sperm are already there "waiting" when the egg releases. If you wait till after you have ovulated it will be too late to conceive as by the time the sperm travel all the way up the fallopian tube, the egg will be most likely be breaking down.

So ideally, you need to be able to predict when you will ovulate and you don't need to be a clairvoyant to do that! :) Ovulation predictor kits, coupled with Basal Body Temperature charting (my website explains more on where to find the best BBT Charting software available) and an understanding of how your body changes prior to Ovulation WILL be able to let know when to EXPECT ovulation so that you can time your intercourse accordingly. This can dramatically shorten the time it takes to get pregnant.

You need to make sure to have sex 2 to 5 days prior to ovulation AND the day of ovulation just as a back-up as there is a chance the sperm will still meet the egg before it starts to break down.

One common mistake people make is to have sex Every Day on the lead up to ovulation, this could actually be damaging and lessen your chances - you want Quality not Quantity and the more often you have sex, the less concentration of Sperm to Fluid there is likely to be. Time your intercourse every other day during the lead up to ovulation if you can.

Yeah, I get sore if we do it every day too. I dont know why. Maybe try using a lubricant from the beginning and all the way through?

You dont need to have sex every day anyway, it takes his testes 72 hours to replenish his sperm count after an ejaculation. So having sex every day leaves him firing a lot of blanks.

Every other day is best. And that should also help cut down on your discomfort.

Talk to your doctor about the pain - there are glands in the vagina that get enflamed sometimes and that could be what you're experiencing - it's extremely painful (and unfortunately gets worse during pregnancy)... but there are treatments.
Good luck!

Sounds to me like something is wrong... it shouldn't hurt... It may be you have an infection of it is like a stinging hurt, or maybe warts.... I would definitely have that checked.... Now, if it has been close to your period, it may be where you have been swollen, but if not, you really need to go to the Dr, ASAP......
