Day and night games are so different that stats should be kept for both! Indoor games are a whole different matter altogether, and should be outlawed.
My preference is day games. The idea of the changing sky with clouds blowing by, blue sky, grey sky, etc. being an element of the game that makes no two games in the same park being the same. Night ball makes for consistent lighting which may be great for television, but poor for baseball. Being able to see dark clouds approaching, and wondering if the rain is coming, or when the rain is coming adds an element of tension to a game that simply is not present at night.
A ball can get lost in a neutral colored sky, and at night that just doesn't happen. Once a player has learned the lights of a stadium, the ball just stands out, it is brilliantly illuminated for all to see. The daytime "lost ball" can be very hard to pick up again, and I LOVE that element of the game.

It depends on the stadium. Some days are just beautiful and if the roof is retractable, nothing beats soaking in a few rays at the ball park drinking some cold ones. Night games are o.k but I'll rather be at a club at night oppose to a baseball game. At night during a work week you hate being stuck in traffic knowing you have to wake up the next morning for work. I like day games better.

This one's tough. I think I equally enjoy both. For day games, I get to bring my kids along and watch them enjoy the ballpark. I feel like they're getting the same experience with me that I got with my parents as a kid. But I love night games because that's my chance to go with just my husband or some friends, kick back and have a few drinks. It's also typically cooler in the evenings and when the weather is real nice, they'll open the roof to give a beautiful view. I'll take either one.

Night games in Anaheim stadium where the stands bake in the sun. Day games in petco park where after sunset the fog rolls in off the Pacific a block away and the temperature drops quickly. Day games in Boston in April or May. Either in Boston in June, July, August and September. Whatever time of day if you are watching your team in October.

Night games for purely selfish reasons. I have to take time off work to go to day games (except on the weekends) and I can't always do that. Which means I have to sell/give away about half of my day game tickets and I never get to see a full 81 Royals home games.

NIGHT!
If you can't stay up until 1am to watch a World Series game in which your team is playing you don't deserve to call yourself a FANS!
Plus who the heck can afford to take their 2.3 kids to a World Series game?
I'd rather you leaving the little maniacs at home so the stupid drunks can have their fun!

night game because there is always more excitement in the park...i dont really know why, maybe because more people get loaded? lol, i think actually its because there is always a better crowd at night, like during the day games there are alot of families and kids...and at night there are mor younger adults and die hard fans out having a good time....
