Weird? Why would it be weird. I think guys with Boston or New York accents are HOT.

The accent is caused by drinking to much tea at the huge Party that you threw at the pier in Boston. In time you will have a Southern twang!

My colleauge from our East Coast office has a Boston,Jersey, NY accent. It is funnier than hell. During a night out when we are trying to find a parking spot and he says Pack da kar, when he means Park The Car." We bust out laughing everytime. Just roll with it..

NO!!! Pretty much everyone has an accent (except South-West Ohioans, apparently), especially in comparison to people from other areas. It is perfectly normal, just the way you have learned to say things and if people have a problem with it, they need to get used to life! ;)

Not weird. It just sounds weird to me because I am from the South and have a very Southern accent. So yes I guess you would sound odd to me. But to people up there I'm sure you sound fine.

Only in New York.

I am from MA, and now live in NY, but can hide my accent pretty well. However, when I'm in MA I slip... so an accent is really in the mind... you can work around it if you are so inclined.

"Weahyud" is perfect!
Thats exactly how we say it

I dont think its unusual for people to have both Boston traces and New York traces. If you grew up in Michigan, however, it might be odd.
