That's an interesting question.
I find it very revealing that almost no one believed that Saddam had complied with the U.N. Resolutions that were constantly in question because of his miserable insistence that only certain areas were open to inspection, only certain resolutions were accepted and not rejected by him and when ever he felt the urge, he would literally kick the inspection teams out of Iraq.
ONLY after the invasion and subsequent search did the 20/20 hindsight pundits start in with the "Bush lied" rhetoric.
It was too risky at the time the decisions were made and following the events of 9/11 to ASSUME that Saddam no longer had any chemical arsenals - and they knew it.
Now we know that Saddam was posturing and bluffing - convincing his own troops that Iraq possessed WMD's - and it has become a huge issue for the far left to pound this fact as though they knew better all along. Nonsense.
The public record of their initial authorization to attack speaks much louder than their present rhetoric.

Border protection isn't necessary while a superhighway from Mexico to Canada throughout the rustic starts off shape, my wager, we are going to need the cheap hard artwork to construct it, we can't probable pay individuals a residing salary to construct their very own highway to destruction. Socialism, Communism, Fascism, we don't would desire to be aggravating approximately any of those issues. Capitalism, corporationism, "loose" commerce, it is going to break our economic device. firms have become much less and much less keen to pay American workers while they might get distant places workers to make issues greater affordable. never ideas we are putting out to make certain greater beneficial than the occasional tainted, poisonous, poisonous products on our cabinets. we are dropping greater beneficial than our sovereignty, we are dropping our identification as a rustic.

That was the old excuse for the war...the new one is that we are fighting terrorism. Next year it will be something else...the U.S. is bringing a democratic government to Iraq.

No, we haven't. We suffer for every brave soldier that is laid to rest for that lie.

Of course we haven't. We're paying for our government sending our military and its equipment over there in order to kill Iraqi civilians.
