If a person were really considering not marrying someone because of their non-illegal or ridiculously dangerous job, I say that THEY were the person the sanitation worker should pass on. Not very loving.

On the other hand, if you just couldn't handle your prospective partner being, say, a mortician, and you knew you couldn't get past it, then you'd have to move on.

My mother had a cousin who wouldn't marry this great guy because he had a weird name (it was really weird, too).

It's an honest, dependable job. How dependable is your soulmate? Yes, I'd marry them. If they crawled in manholes all day, I might require that they remove their clothes and shower after coming home before coming near me.

For sure, and I would not hesitate either. A soul mate is hard to find. And a job is just a job.

The fact is, if you had to ask, then your soul mate might not really be your soul mate. A real soul mate trumps all.

THAT'S A CRAZY QUESTION!

Its what's inside that counts. Does your soul mate have a good heart? Does your soul mate make you happy?

It should matter where this person works, it should matter that this person has a job and can support there self.

I'd say, they probably wouldn't be my soulmate. I'm not sure how I would overcome that stench with senses like mine...
