This is an excellent choice if you have any health problems or back pain due to your breasts.

I had mine done Feb 2006 (38J to 38C) and I do not regret it one bit.

I am 38 years old and I had 34ff breasts on a size 12 /14 frame and I have spent the last 20 years in utter despair. I have wasted many many hours on fretting and being upset before a night out or before a well earned holiday as I had lost all confidence. However in February this year I decided that I just wouldnt allow my horrible uncomfortable breasts to rule my life any more and I had a breast reduction with " The Hospital Group" . They took such excellent care of me and I couldnt fault the hospital or the staff.
During the first 2 weeks of recovery I can truthfully say it was the worst pain that I could have ever imagined however the thought of the nurse taking off my bandages and showing me my new shape kept me going. My breasts were literally black and blue and at first I did wonder what I had put myself through.

Like me, im sure you will have many friends and family who have shared your despair over the years and will only be too happy to help you with washing, getting dressed etc in the first 2 weeks. You will need to take 4 weeks off work in my opinion as you can tend to feel a little emotional and panicky about people bumping into you in those first few weeks.

8 months on I can honestly say I feel as free as a bird and I am so thrilled that I was brave enough to go ahead with the surgery. There are some scars however I have found that if you apply false tan you can hardly notice them at all. At 38 I feel I can finally start to live my life and enjoy it to its fullest potential. I , too, was 28 when I originally decided to go for surgery and I would beg you not to wait ( and waste ) another 10 years before taking the first step in controlling the course of your life. I havent looked back ! Good luck xxxx

1. breast reduction is even more risky than enlargement. you can end up with anything from the superficial mis-shapen breasts and inverted nipples to huge burns, and a risk of stroke or even death.
2. lots of women find that they miss their big boobs, and curvaceousness and that the scarring and huge pain wasn't worth it
3. however, if it's causing you mental angst, i think that as long as you think about it for a long time, it could be beneficial to your mental health
4. breast reduction will make your waist look bigger in proportion, and you may feel less womanly as a result of the changing proportions

that's just a few things for you to think about. to be honest if they're not causing you back pain, then i wouldn't advise breast reduction.

Women with extremely large breasts-breasts that are simply too big for their frame-frequently experience chronic and serious back and neck pain. Sometimes, the weight of their breasts can also lead to painful shoulder grooving from bra straps and severe, chronic skin rashes. Excessively large breasts can prevent a woman from participating in many enjoyable and healthy physical activities. Additionally, women with excessively large breasts may face social pressures that can lead to very real emotional injury.

In very few cases, a breast reduction can be accomplished with some simple liposuction sculpting. The success of this technique depends on a couple of factors. One has to do with the percentage of fat in the breasts as opposed to gland tissue. Every woman is different in this case, but if your breasts are composed of mostly gland tissue with very little fat, liposuction would be ruled out as a means of reduction. Liposuction, when used successfully, is an excellent option because it is minimally invasive, which translates to lower risks, less discomfort, a shorter recovery and minimum scarring.

I would have a reduction but only because its bad for my health and it sounds like you have some whoppers and against your small frame.

Do you know how many people want BIGGER breasts? I would just take what they say as a compliment or ignore it, and 99% of straight men prefer bigger breasts but if you've thought it through it's your choice.

Have you talked to your insurance company or your doctor about this? That would be the first thing I would do.
