miserable packaged commercial sugar treats
(M&Ms, Reese's cups, Reese's bars, Three Musketeers)
Exactly what I will want to eat if the kids don't show up . . . .

i usually just get a bag of mini candy bars in the rare event of a trick or treater showing up at my house. i live in the country and no one has came here in several years. these days it is pretty much confined to family members and friends and trick or treating is rare out of the city limits.

I always buy the good stuff. There is always some left over and it might as well be something I will eat.
Snickers....Twix...Milky Way...Jolly Ranchers. I get a lot of trick or treaters.

Tootsie Rolls (both chocolate and flavored kind), gummy dots, MnM's, suckers, and some more stuff I don't remember. We have about 3 or 4 bowls full of Candy prepared to be given out.

Candy bars, and not the fun sized ones either. We give out regular sized candy bars every year. Costs us a small fortune, but how often is it Halloween?

I bought ring pops, M&M's, three musketeers, snickers, milky way, blow pops, Abba Zabba's, red hots, fruit snacks, candy necklaces...loads of good stuff. I pray for leftovers since I'm a sugar hound.
