Traditionaly, yes (especially in the Islamic traditions for Bachelorette parties). For the hair, mainly with older generations and as for tatoos, very popular down by the beaches during the summer vaca....However; (warning to all) a recent study shows that the local henna used (no matter what they tell you) is not reall/pure henna (especially if its black or dark henna) and can actually/potentially cause a form of poisoning to the blood with severe side-effects and consequences...
Make sure its the pure redish/brown kind and that its the real deal :-)

uhh henna is not very popular in lebanon, but there still are places where you can get it done. I know of a pool area for girls and there are pools and slides, a tanning booth and there is a little shop where u can get henna tattoos at the pool. the pool is a great place it is so fun! it is located in tyre, lebanon and the tattoos really arent expensive :D

I know Henna, she is very impolite. She will come to your house and drink all of your ARAK.
