We are all human and we all make mistakes. Before overeacting I have learned to hear all sides of a story or try to get to the bottom of why they did it. If they were close enough to me to betray my trust - they must mean something special to me. There have been times someone has screwed up unintentionally OR "thought" they were trying to "help". If it isn't too severe I believe most should be given another chance to fix their screw up. People are capable of change and also not repeating the same mistake twice.
I try to live by the rule:
"Fool me once ... shame on you. Fool me twice ... shame on me."
It is something so severe that I just couldn't honestly let it go ... I'd say good bye and move on with my life. But that ~ thank goodness ~ has yet to happen! =)
Peace to you ...

I kick them out of my life. Lack of trust is something I will not put up with. There are no second chances with me when it comes to something like that. I have a hard time trusting people in general so I always have my guard up. So after all of that for them to finally gain my trust and then lose it, I'm done with them.

well.........I learnt enough lessons from the past, you know.......
earlier........it used to be a disaster for me coz it used to break down my confidence......
but now I am cautious............coz you know anyone can betray......its better for you not to expect much(well at least you should be prepared for betrayal!!!)
so ........I dont take a chance and I dont give a chance........but still.......you know anything can happen.....maybe sweet revenge is a good idea but it ends up hurting yourself at the end.......so the best thing is to care about your ownself and be extra-cautious!!!!

Abort the mission to ever see him/her again. Avoid contact of any kind with this person...in other word "ignore his/her existence in my life for good!
