this is an unfair question. the reason being, you have many talented wrestlers from many generations and it unfair to compare them. I could say Sammartino, Zybysko, his protege, Harley Race, the Von Erichs, Anyone from Stu Hart dungeon, its hard to say.

IF YOU MEAN TALENTED AS IN WRESTLING ABILITY AS OPPOSED TO POPULARITY,THEN I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE .."KANE".
THIS IS NOT JUST MY OPPINION,BUT MANT WRESTLERS AND WRESTLING WRITERS.KANE HAS BEEN VERY MUCH UNDERRATED BECAUSE HIS LOOK(STYLE) COULD ONLY TAKE HIM SO FAR.BUT HIS SKILL AND TECHNIQUE ARE FANTASTIC.HE IS A LARGE MAN BUT PERFORMES WITH GREAT AGILITY AND GRACE.HE DOES NOT HAVE THE APPEAL OF SOME OTHER TOP RATED STARS LIKE STONECOLD,TRIPLE H,JUST TO MENTON A COUPLE.BUT ANYONE WHO WATCHES THE WRESTLING MATCHES KNOWS AND SEES HOW BAD THEY ARE AT MAKING IT LOOK "REAL".
JUST WATCH KANE IN A MATCH AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT A GREAT GIFTED AND TALENTED ATHLETE KANE REALLY IS.
