yeah. constantly. but not as much as my older sister. she never knows when to stop. it's actually kind of funny, she's like a mouse running into a maze wall repeatedly.

i feel sorry for the kids who never talk back to their parents. for example, my cousin will get EXTREMELY punished for correcting her mom, and she doesn't do it rudely. it will be something as simple as telling her that the name of the store they got the bracelet at was actually "island sun," rather than "tropics."

when i'm a parent, i will let my kids correct me (not to the extent of being rude, though). it doesn't seem fair that you can't answer back to a parent, no matter how politely you do so. sometimes they'll ask you something like "did you go to the mall when i told you not to?" and you'll start to say "yes, but it was because my ride home's parents needed to stop there for five minutes." they'll cuz you off, and then they hear only half the story. your act of disobediance was justified, but they'll never know that.

You should always be respectful to your parents. I do, but I'm also 39 and I do it respectfully because even at my age, my Mom would knock me into next week!
