Red Sox. Same reason they swept in 04. After such a hard fought ALCS, the world series and a National League team will be a pleasant break.

Rockies in 6.
The Rockies won the series in Boston 2-1 earlier this year when the Sox were red hot and the Rockies were not playing very well. They beat up Boston's two best pitchers, including laying 7 runs in five innings on Beckett.
The Rockies are deeper in the bullpen and on the field.
The Rockies have the momentum. Granted, they have had 9 days off because they crushed everyone in their path so far, so they will be cold the first game. The Sox run the risk of having a let down after their comeback wins to beat Cleveland, and they may be a little tired (I doubt it though).
The AL teams alwyas have a hard time when their pitchers are actually required to play baseball in a NL park. Just look at the record of AL teams against the NL at home this season.
I can see the Sox winning the first two games in Boston, but they won't win in Denver because the style they play does not work in zero humidity. (Everyone says it's the altitude that makes the difference, but it's really the below zero relative humidity.) After the Rockies win all three in Colorado, they won't have any problems toasting Boston once they have the momentum back.

The Rockies will win in six games but I hope they win it in five games if they can. They are on a roll by winning 21 of their last 22 games and I do not think anyone can stop them. If they sweep the World Series then they will be only the second team in MLB history to go undefeated in the playoffs after the legendary Big Red Machine did it in 1976. GO ROCKIES!!!

Probably the Sox, but I am rooting for the Rockies.
I think that the layoff for the Rockies is going to have really hurt their momentum.
Boston just took 3 in a row to make it to the World Series, and they will have a much shorter layoff than Colorado had.
Plus if it goes to 7 games, Boston has the home game.

The Red Sox for two reasons:
1. They are the better team.
2. The Rockies have had too much time off.

I lean strongly to the purple soxs yet while the rockies can get some offensive capability on the backside 0.5 off the lineup they could win in 7 video games. this additionally contains that there protection and pitching can stay stable against the powerhouse offense

The Red Sox...they have momentum and home field advantage...Colorado hasn't played in over a week and that layoff could affect them...I think the Sox will take it in 5 or 6 games
