I recieved a no insurance ticket on a car that was not even running. I wanted to fight it in court, but the court date was originally on Labor Day. It was moved to the next day, I unfortunately had to work. I didn't make it to to court, not knowing that I could have appealed it in writing, it is now over due. So, if I have to pay it, I want to make it as hard on them as possible.

pennies are legal tender. all governmental agencies have to take it just like any other legal tender. (without any fees either)

That's really funny. As to whether they will accept pennies, call the county clerks office and ask. Technically pennies are legal tender, but the clerk doesn't have to accept 50000 of them.

the link states the law: pennies are legal tender, just like dollar bills...this does not mean that the creditor has to accept them.

Don't do it, as you can be cited for contempt of court. You're not the first to think of it.

i wouldn't do it being that the cops will know it was you and will pick on you for every little thing they see you doing and if a car is registered it has to be insured
