At one point, I figured that Al Gore was just an idiot. Once I saw how much money he has bilked out of hippies though, it occurred to me that he may be a diabolical genius.
It's pretty obvious that the naturally occurring warming cycle of the globe cannot be stopped or slowed, so any attempts are incredibly futile. Rather than waste time and money in a fruitless endeavor, one would assume that intelligent people would focus on safeguarding themselves from the effects of the cycle (moving away from the waterfront, preparing their fields for different crops, etc.), however, Al Gore has joined with the fear-mongering media in order to scare well meaning people into handing them their money.

Why doesn't he try to solve poverty or welfare? That would be more amazing...
polar bears and penguins dying? not because of humans... it's called the circle of life...
the "ozone depletion" in february every year has happened every year since this world has been in existence... people just want to have something to scare you with every february...
if there were no deer hunters, there would be an overpopulation of deer in this world...
God intended humans to co-exist with animals, not have the animals overrun the people...
Al Gore is not bright, just a good talker like his former boss Bill...

No. It's impossible to cool the actual sun, but it is possible to spray/seed chemicals in the atmosphere such as to not let as much sunlight through thereby coolng down the photons that do reachus here on earth.

Al Gore thinks you can travel to the Sun as long as you go at night.
He wants your money, all of it and complete control of your life. It would suit him if you had to ask to go to the bathroom with special permission required for #2.
There are few people on this planet I find completely useless, most can be used as a bad example, but Al definitely falls into the totally useless category.

man, you sound seriously uneducated when you say that. "the sun is what's causing the warming".
1 the sun goes through 11 year cycles, not 30 year cycles
2 if it was due to the sun, all planets would be warming. they are not.

I don't think he is trying to cool the sun. But if we really wanted to stop global warming then we could all let the cold air out of our houses. Obviously liberals believe human pollution is enough to change the entire atmosphere. Why not cool air?
