Definitely Blacks are the most understood, atleast in this country. We are always being portrayed in a negative light in the media thus most people of other groups have a negative attitude about us. Its not only whites, its Asians, Hispanics, Indians, etc. It seems like everybody who's not Black looks down upon Blacks...just my opinion

Well, you really can't speak for someone else unless you actually experienced what they have experienced so who's to say. You can only go off your own experiences. I can say the culture that I least understand is Asians. Reason being, they don't interact often with other cultures so we don't get a chance to understand them.

Whites are BY FAR the most misunderstood because blacks are always telling whites what we think and blaming us for any and every thing that is wrong in their lives. We can just walk by a black person and be accused of thinking some stupid thing. I work with several blacks who are racist and hate whites. They're always making some ignorant comment about some perceived injustice done to them earlier in the day. I get so sick of it. They talk as if I am not there and not white. I'm looking for another job where fewer blacks work. You can't argue with stupidity.

june is right, we cant say who is most misunderstood unless you are actually them. i dont live in the US, so i dont have much interaction with the black community in US. but from what media and especially with the terrorism thingy, i would say middle eastern people and all asians who are practising islam.

In order to be (mis-)understood someone has to be saying something. I am not aware of any race that is trying to say anything as a group. There are a lot of people or all races who have assumptions about certain races, but I would attribute that to a lack of education, dogmatism or else just a lack of experience.

Black people are mostly misunderstood by whites. other minorities tend to adopt and be more fund of the urban life.

white people ask a million questions a day about blacks usually out of contest or stereotypical or just ignorant.
