If you don't find what you're looking for online, please send me an email, tell me a little about what you are looking for and I'd be happy to send you some patterns. I have a 40 year collection to so chances are I can help you out. However, the sites that have been sent to you have a LOT of good patterns on them so you might not need any more.
Good luck finding what you need.

Lion Brand did a series last year sometime on crochet motifs. and some could pass for snow flakes... you could crochet a bunch in red, green and white and make a nice Christmas afghan with them
