i'm not in L.A. but i am in san diego county. it sucks being stuck indoors. i feel horrible for all those folks who lost their homes. i feel like i should be out shopping for supplies that are needed. but i am also thinking about my kids. i can't have them outside with sucky thick ashy hot air. =(
i just found out there is a fire here on camp pendleton too. yikes! i hope these fires are put out soon. there's also a fire by the back part of the base and it wont be fully contained until november 1st. can you believe that?

I was waiting on pins and needles to hear from friends in Chula Vista. Just heard this afternoon. They are back home after being evacuated. Everything is sooty, but their home is standing! Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they begin the awful cleanup.
